We cannot beat the openness of the world created by heightened interdependence, internet and ease of travel.
Mr. Smith echoes sane Americans when he wants us to stop turning our friends into enemies and creating new ones.

Why should Hillary win?
She is woman. Is US stuck in old ages? Let’s show the world that we have not been left behind.
She will not run amuck with ideology and will move slowly and deliberately.
Hillary will calm Iraq. Withdraw troops slowly and not advocate bizarre solutions.
The issues like immigration and healthcare will receive better treatment and solutions at the hands of a woman. Men have consistently failed.
Abortion is one issue that men cannot even comprehend logically. Hillary is a person to frame the moral issues for the country.
Hillary is the only person who will get Obama and McCain to work for her.
Hillary is the only person who has been consistently been battered by Bill, Democrats and Republicans and continued to stand tall.
Hey guys stand back and let us have first woman President. Unleash the woman power.

Bold Solution # 1
The problem number one is the Middle East.
We are in the election year. A lot of politicians are talking at the same time. Most of their din is in generalities and designed to muddle things to manipulate the electorate. We will need solutions to the remedy the immense damage done to the American image by the last two Bush presidencies.
1948 cannot be undone. Israel should exist independently and without US props.US will need to adopt a policy wherein Israel is not perceived by rest of the world as a US protectorate.
End our dependence on oil by diversion of all of our resources to develop alternative sources of energy within 10 years. Prepare US for the pain of doing so.
Stop arms flow to all Arabian and Middle Eastern countries and withdraw armed forces from all countries. It is not a US function to sow, germinate, foster or protect democracy anywhere in the world. It only makes us look like new Colonists.
Convene an international think tank to draw up a road map for economic developments to all Middle Eastern and Arabian countries. The world should loan them the best technology to build economies to provide jobs and implements of a better living. Historically it will drive all terrorism to the fringes.
An international force of 25000 heavily equipped military force consisting of only Muslims of all hues should be posted for 25 years at a place where they will have most maneuverability. This force will be given full authority to enforce the plan.
How will this be acceptable to all those warring countries and religions that have been killing and providing haven to terrorists? It will not be.
This will be the first good cop job number 1 for USA.

The Fine Print
So the primary season is on. CNN and Fox are having a hay day. The problem is for the people. The messages delivered at the electoral pulpit read like a fine print attached to a product. They are long, confusing and boring. What do they mean?
Hillary: When Bill left, I promised that I will be back. I am for everything and nothing.
Obama: I am fresh and untainted. Only God knows where I will go.
Edwards: I want to go out with a flourish. I want to be something if democrats take the White House.
Romney: I am a sophisticated and articulate Bush. I will run the country as permanent Olympics.
Huckabee: I will beat Jihadists at their own game. Every propaganda tape from them will be matched by my tape.
Giuliani: I just want to sell my profile. I just want to heighten the profile of my company to go global.
McCain: Old is gold. I have spoiled elections before. I will do it again.
In the end all lobbyists will get behind the best product which will be one of the above. We were stuck with a Chinese made product last time. Be warned.
