It is going to be Obama all the way. And it is going to like the women’s marathon runner Romanian Constantina Tomescu who had the whole stadium to herself for a victory lap at the Beijing Olympics.
We the poor electorate have been hijacked by pundits and media and hoodwinked by every pollster, TV station, Newspaper and Google. It seems to be like World Wide wrestling match. Obama reels out soaring oratory at notable venues and McCain rattles out fear mongering. The outcome is already known and scripted. It is a sham show by Republicans who know that Bush has let them down big time. They have put up an inflated and a lifeless candidate who has been set up to be the fall guy. 80% of Americans do not like Bush and his Iraq War. So why will anybody in his or senses vote for McCain who proudly flaunts his support for Bush at every step.
For last 8 years the Republican rule has flouted every article of the constitution. They have trampled many basic freedoms of Americans like speech, travel and privacy. They have redefined the rules of war at home and abroad, opening a wide chasm with the rest of the world. All this in the name of protecting the nation from terror which historically has been a part of mankind since its birth and is always overhyped. It is always used as a political tool by politicians to retain power by fear mongering. How do you fight a war with an unknown enemy other than killing them when they attack you?
Manipulating the Americans and selling to them the idea of export of democracy and freedom. Converting thuggery by only an insignificant group led by Osama Bin Laden and hyping it to the level of international terrorism. Led by those who wanted to meet the needs of a shallow kind of capitalism which is only geared to sell arms and services to the poorer nations of world in the name of export of freedom and democracy as well as quick buck.
Idea logs are blind people who have been programmed to follow one idea which is preordained by their God. They repeat the idea millions of times trying to brainwash people. Limbaugh and his ilk are the leaders in this kind of tactics. Public policy in the hands of idea logs is a very lethal combination. It generates incompetence as was shown all through the Bush years. They only recruited the people who could say yes and follow a given line. Look what happened in Iraq and how much money has been lost or misappropriated by people and companies selected to execute the things they did not know. Seeing the world only in black and white is sure to limit ones vision.
Every living soul in the world is proud of what the capitalism does for them by affording them an abundance of opportunity to improve their lives. In direct contrast with twisted forms of socialism and communism which oppressed poor masses in more than half the world, the capitalism has been responsible for the rise of middle in India, China and elsewhere. But in the hands of ideal logs capitalism also becomes a tool of for locking out the middle class when useless and expensive wars are waged by mortgaging our future by borrowing. It seems that the bridges, roads and the needs of our own country are of no consequence to ideal logs when it comes to the sacrifices that have to be made to spread freedom and democracy.
The media has been trivializing the politics and elections. How many houses does McCain have? What is Obama’s religion? What dress is Hillary Clinton is wearing? Biden uses Amtrak every day. Who is Edwards sleeping with? Michelle Obama’s allegedly lack of love for America. All this when we are still engrossed in wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, in deep debt, economy is floundering, millions have no health insurance and the oil is more than 3.50 dollars.
I am of view that if the people of US vote for McCain despite the most compelling reasons, we may very well dump our constitution in Smithsonian. But Americans are smart and will reject McCain soundly and by big margin.

Bush Seeks Backdoor Third Term
Career politicians, lobbyists, businessmen and mobsters seek political offices and influence. The entire game is played to seek the control the resources or purse strings of the government and organizational budgets. And then open the spigots towards those who get them elected.
All the debates in the media and the interaction of politicians with public are designed to roll out sweet candy of manipulation during the election process. The entrenched politicians find it very hard to give up power and purse strings. They are always planning to do something to stretch the control of resources. In this quest they are aided and abetted very powerful and well oiled money machines known as vested interests and lobbyists.
Bush was a creation of a group of strong lobbies. They imposed musclemen like Cheney and Rumsfeld on him who were clearly a front for the war making industrial complex. For 8 years they have had free rein. Now at the end of their constitutional mandate, they are planning to saddle the next President with a fait accompli which will extend the lease of life to their economic backers. Some of the acts which are planned to accomplish this:
Stack the federal bureaucracy with those who will continue the war agenda or thwart the new administration in case they grow too aggressive. It takes years for the new government to replace them and repair the damage.
Award no bid or indirect contracts to war making contractors and build a pipeline to banana republics of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Doha, Emirates and puppeteer rulers of Easter Europe and Africa. How can Halliburton and its clones give up the consistent flow of unearned money?
Force an unrealistic security arrangement down the Iraqi throats ensuring continued inter communal fighting. The idea of introducing permanent military bases in Iraq belies the knowledge of past history and Middle Eastern and Muslim culture. Al Qaida is the child of our military presence in Saudi Arabia. Keeping any presence in Iraq in my view will give birth to Al Qaida II and more Bin Laden’s. But it is likely to happen and will facilitate Bush third term.
Keep intact, the hands off policy on Palestinian problem by forging an international cooperative effort with Israel military industrial complex. Both war machine backed lobbies sell arms worldwide to autocratic and tyrannical rulers in the name of democracy and freedom. It suits them to keep the Palestinian conflict ongoing. It has worldwide implications and keeps the big and small conflicts going.
From here to Jan 4, 2009 keep on upping the ante with regard to bogey called Iran. Make aggressive moves towards Iran and push a proxy war by Israel with them. With Iraq ebbing, the efforts to launch firecracker war with Iran would be most beneficial to war making lobby. It will ignite Hezbollah, Iraq, India, Pakistan and most of the Muslim world.
President Eisenhower was true when he warned us about military industrial complex. Can the people of US overcome this challenge by War Lobby? We can start by heeding to President Eisenhower?
“We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.”
