The Gangs of Washington DC

The Gangs are roaming and mauling everybody all over Washington DC. The latest gang is a six member Gang which has rehashed all old contaminated leftovers of older Gangs and wants to feed them to Americans.

The Red Faced Gang led by Speaker Boehner has been prowling Washington for a long time.  It has been regularly slicing and dicing innocent Americans and feeding them to big Corporations and Lobbyists. They are being challenged by Tea Party Gang who is willing to attack anything black in their sights.  And Boehner is finding their appetite too voracious. He is now operating in the dark only. Watch out for his new killings.

I think we all are sick of the Confused Ever Shrinking Gang led by President Obama. They never get off our TV screens. They have talked themselves out of contention in the Gang wars. They already look starved and frail. Even killing Osama Bin Laden has not helped the gang. The gang is also manned by many zombies. Among them, the Majority Leader Harry Reid is a full blown zombie. When he is on TV, we have a feeling that the sky is going to fall down soon.

The Gang Wars of Washington have also become boring.  I suggest that we may immediately invite World Wide Wrestling and NASCAR to Washington DC and stop our Congress from becoming extinct. And maybe we create a Department of Oxycontin headed by Rush Limbaugh which will provide painkillers to the Congress when Gangs are tired.

Leave the American debt crisis to these Gangs and we are sure to be struck by lightning soon.

Freaking them out

Obama is freaking them out. The novelty of the first black President refuses to wear off. The legislators, politicians and bureaucrats were all waiting for election to be over and going back to business as usual. It is more than 100 days but Obama is still freaking them out. He refuses to relinquish the bully pulpit to anyone.

Rush Limbaugh has been doing clownish flips in order to seek attention and got so exasperated that he decided to court a forced sale of his condo in New York. McCain was so mesmerized that he could not bark a better question than about cancellation of presidential helicopter deal when we are embroiled in a life and death economic struggle. Republicans are still in a treacherous market shopping for someone to hang their coat on. Republican governors have been swallowing their own words while begging for federal aid to meet their deficits. Bobby Jindal tried and badly stumbled on national TV. Sarah Palin is reeling under the weight of her daughter’s indiscretions. Listening tours and teaching tours are touted for a Republican revival. No traction yet. Pelosi, Geithner, Gingrich, Romney, Steel and many more have been sidelined. No scandal, no war, no crisis, no tragedy or dog purchase has escaped Obama’s pulpit. Legislators from both parties and media and media hogs are at their wits end. Obama has completely obliterated their faces and TV time.

Obama has not only seized the bully pulpit with FDR type vengeance. He wrings somebody’s neck every time he is on it. He has choked all oxygen to his opponents. Not a day passes when Obama is not pontificating to the country and world. He does what FDR used to do every day. Does something and goes whole hog. If it fails apologizes profusely for it and starts doing something else. Like FDR he is always doing something. Obama has surrounded himself with a lot of experts and is always showing them off. He is freaking out all his opponents by this daily parade.

Not content with occupying national stage, Obama in the midst of this plastered Europe with his press conferences and hobnobbing with Sarkozy. Brown in UK, Merkel of Germany and Medvedev are smiling widely because Bush had made them cry. Africans and Asians are more hopeful

Not content with shutting out his opponents from all kinds of broadcast time, Obama regularly sends Giethner to bore listeners with his plans. Hillary is on conquering new countries which were out of bounds for Bushies. Janet Napolitano is not afraid to talk border and immigration. Healthcare is on the agenda and everybody is talking about it. Economy is Summer’s hands and looking up.

In the mix is Michelle Obama’s kitchen garden, her biceps and dresses from J Crew, Jewish lunches, the buying a dog and concerts.

No wonder Glen Beck is crying, Haley Barbour is crying foul and complaining that Obama is on a constant election campaign. O’Reilly is panting with a lot of irrelevant cultural issues. His hackneyed themes of Socialism, Marxism, abortion, gay rights and national security are back and no one is paying any attention to it.

It is Obama all the way. And everyone is freaked out.

We All are Depraved

Thank you Professors Epstein and Thompson for declaring Nevadans depraved citizens. (The Reluctance to Tax Ourselves-Nevada’s depravity in Viewpoints of May 02, 2010). If this had happened in the biblical times, Jesus would have asked a non depraved one to throw the first stone. It is true that Nevadans could thrive with less gambling and more education and I am all for it. Yet our depravity in the name of some depraved ideology is well documented and we are always running a losing race against for more humanity and equity. Here are some examples:

• More than 2.5 million humans are declared depraved and locked up. Americans could pay $ 10 with their tax returns to educate them.

• We have half a million kids in foster homes that languish without any effort to educate them.

• We refuse to give healthcare to every American because it is the personal responsibility for everyone to take care of his health while insurance companies and drug companies fatten themselves.

• How depraved are highly educated fat cats like Bill Clinton, Edwards, Sanford, Ensign, Spitzer, Gibbons and countless others who use the system to play sex while our soldiers are being killed in wars.

• How depraved are those educated at Harvard, Wharton, Yale and Stanford who gambled trillions of dollars and ran the American economy into ground.
We definitely need to educate, innovate and preserve our culture. This could be done with a little less depravity but we will stay depraved. I feel pretty hopeless.

Pundit Glen Beck indoctrinates Americans

Pundit Glen Beck has ordained via his blackboard that education is equal to indoctrination. The high priest of big bluster 500 pound gorilla Rush Limbaugh says that change is for liberals. Conservatives do not change. To top it all the master of outrageous talk also self anointed greatest nutritionist in the world Michael Savage has dubbed universities and colleges as hot beds of liberalism which according to him is a mental disorder. The lavishly funded conservative think tanks and their supporters are funneling a great deal of money to veer the college and university education to conservatism.

Who said the arch propagandist Goebbels was is dead. The conservations have resurrected him and adopted his same techniques. They blabber the same message day in and out. It always sounds like as an urgent message from God to be delivered by to masses by them exclusively. It sounds like the dictates of propaganda ministries of wartime Germany and Russia. They call themselves opinion makers and not journalists. According to them media is liberal ridden and fake.

With education being bandied as the enemy of the people by the rulers of the air waves, we are headed downhill at breakneck speed of course. These bands of fanatic leaders of propaganda have decided to wreck the education from within. They would supplant it with their brand of myopic message that we need to stick to our founding fathers who incidentally had the most liberal education available at that time and the Bible.

In Las Vegas we have found a fighter in Dr. William Epstein of UNLV. His fight to preserve education in UNLV is worth emulation and may take some shine off the great propaganda machine described above.
