Barack Obama is the new kid on the block. He is young, cool, tall, good looking, ivy school educated, married with kids, never loses his cool and is a brilliant speaker. Still there has been no dearth of efforts of a trainload of public figures who want to educate him.
Hillary Clinton started to educate him about working class white folks. She was electrocuted and lost the primary and is fishing for a vice presidential slot.
Bill Clinton tried to swing his ‘First Black President’ bat. It landed him rebukes from Hillary, long silences which are a big punishment for him and trips out of the country when he could campaign.
Jesse Jackson tried to teach Barack how to not to talk down the black people and ended up publically apologizing to him.
McCain keeps him calling Barrack ‘naïve’ and asking him to visit Iraq, learn patriotism and foreign policy from him. McCain booboos with Black, Dobson and Gramm and has no answer to Viagra. Barack is visiting Iraq with Hegel a Republican. Ann Coulter is still bitching about McCain.
The oilmen wanted to educate Barack about oil drilling at home. McCain takes the easy Bush train and gets hijacked. Barack sticks to his guns, keeps his cool and becomes a darling of environmental crowd.
Iran saber rattling was designed to throw Barack overboard. McCain does not want to talk to Iran and others and Barack does. Guess most people in the country want us to talk.
McCain wants to educate Barack about the defeating terrorism by staying in Iraq for a hundred years. Barack still wants to get out of Iraq. Maliki of Iraq wants us to get out too and we are not sure to get any oil. 80% of the country is with Barack.
More the people try to educate Barack Obama more he becomes invincible. Barak is the new breed of a politician. He listens.

Bush Was Good For US
Bush II Presidency may go down in history as a precursor of far reaching changes in our nation and world. The coming generations may be grateful to him for daring to bell the cats which have been a bane of civilized world.
Bush called Saddam’s bluff. Although the war was poorly planned and executed, it may provide an opening of a secular niche in very polarized killing fields of Middle East. Horrendous loss of lives of Iraqis and Americans may unleash an era when nations review the concept of freedom in other ways than war. The age of backroom warmongers may be finally over.
Unbridled capitalism with no nose for good of the people and complete lack of oversight was let loose. It produced many Enron and WorldCom clones and Bear Sterns debacle. It than landed us in an economic mess which may take years to repair. Bush may have triggered the biggest overhaul of our regulatory and market systems that would prepare us for wireless internet age.
Bush served his backers well. When he leaves office in Jan 2009, they will all be laughing all the way to the bank for having triggered a $ 100 per barrel rise in the price of oil. But he may have sounded the death knell of oil industry and Saudi Arabia, as the world will surely replace energy sources in next few decades.
Rush Limbaugh with many others talk show host clones who spew hate and pettiness day every day seeking to divide people in every conceivable way. Adopting the ways of the worst of despotic regimes who let loose propaganda machines to manipulate and mislead people. Bush did exactly opposite of what these demi gods wanted. In the end they ostracized him as a semi liberal spender. This may have started the demise of this kind of opportunistic radio.
Executive power without any constraints was the pet theme of Bush team led by Cheney. It resulted in many executive orders and laws that went against the very nature of American constitution. Personal freedoms were curbed and legislative and judicial oversights were disregarded in the name of terrorist threat. This overzealous Bush White House may usher in an era of a harmonious relationship between branches of government in coming years by putting a President and Congress belonging to the same party.
During the last 8 years the Bush team from Texas had no appetite to alienate their base by enacting any significant immigration reforms. By dithering and procrastinating about the most important American issue he finally placed immigration on the national agenda and it will not take long before we do have a sensible policy which treats immigrants with respect and is growth oriented.
Cold war had produced a breed of politicians who lived and died by it. Bush team was the last generation of cold war warriors. They are afflicted with preconceived notion that war is a solution to all of the mankind’s problems and we have a right to force the rest of the world to live by our standards and rules. Bush team’s unilateralism and poor interaction with other nations resulted in a great surge of a class of people who will go whole hog is revitalizing our relationships with rest of the world and removing the barriers set up by cold warriors.
US is the most genuine democracy ever born in the world. When Bush became President in 2005 and Gore went home, it was a tribute to our democracy. When we went to wars in Korea and Vietnam, the nation rallied and became an economic powerhouse. Now when have lost a lot of ground in Iraq and credibility and clout with rest of the world, we are at the threshold of a new breed of politicians like Obama and McCain who are sure to put us on a road to glory again.
